World upside down

While appreciation of art is subjective and can vary depending on individual perspectives, in my opinion, art is born from creation; therefore, it gives life, not takes it away.

I love animals, that's why I paint them. For me, the bull is much more than a beast; it's a majestic animal and a symbol of strength. To speak of art would be to represent it as such in a painting, rather than seeing it among a crowd applauding it in a degraded state, spewing blood from its mouth as it agonizes.

Bullfighting is certainly a tradition, as were gladiatorial fights, but that doesn't mean we continue to participate in these cruel practices. With this work, I seek to question deep-rooted traditions. Art can also be a means to open doors to reflection and challenge the established order.
